Lumien is a non-profit platform operated by Lumien Civil Association, domiciled in Mexico. Our goal is to connect people who wish to receive prayer, meditation or spiritual accompaniment with people and institutions willing to offer it.
By using Lumien, you declare that:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Lumien is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
By using Lumien, you agree NOT to:
You retain rights to the content you post. By posting on Lumien, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display and distribute that content on the platform. We reserve the right to moderate, edit or remove content that violates these terms.
The name "Lumien", the logo, the platform design and all code are property of Lumien Civil Association. You may not use our mark without express authorization.
Lumien is a connection platform, not a medical, therapeutic or institutional religious service:
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice in serious cases. You may close your account at any time from your profile or by contacting us.
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting on this page. Continued use of Lumien after modifications constitutes your acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts under applicable law, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
When you make a gift with a prayer intention to a verified institution on Lumien, payment is processed by Stripe and transferred primarily to that institution’s account (Stripe Connect). Lumien retains a platform percentage to operate the network (verification, moderation and support). Current percentages and an example breakdown are published on the Transparency page.
