About Us

A global prayer network,
with no tradition above another.

Lumien exists so that no one prays alone if they don't want to, and so that no one is left out because of their tradition.

What is Lumien

A space to request prayer
and to accompany in prayer.

People of any tradition—Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, or without a specific tradition—can ask to be prayed for. Others, also from any tradition, choose to accompany them in prayer from their own practice.

We don't ask about belief. We don't require proof. We don't favor any faith. We just connect those who need to be accompanied with those who want to accompany.

Our Mission

Three principles that guide every decision.

That no one prays alone if they don't want to.

Requesting prayer is not a small gesture. It is allowing others to accompany you in what you are going through. Lumien exists to make that accompaniment possible.

That anyone can request prayer regardless of tradition.

Existing platforms are almost all Christian. That leaves out millions of people who also believe, also pray, also need to be accompanied.

That no tradition is above another.

Interreligious neutrality is not a concession: it is our purpose. There are no primary and secondary traditions, majority and minority ones. There are people, and there is prayer.

How it works

How it works

Requesting prayer is simple.
Receiving it, too.

If you need prayer

You briefly share what you need. You choose whether your name is visible or not. Your request reaches the catalog of people who have chosen to accompany. When someone prays for you, you receive a notification: someone prayed for you today.

If you want to accompany others

You register as an intercessor. You choose what type of requests you want to receive. When you pray for someone, you leave a brief message. That person will receive your words along with the news that they were accompanied.

No points. No rankings. No rewards.
Just people accompanying people.

Who prays

Intercessors are
the heart of Lumien.

They come from any tradition. They can be people who pray or meditate in daily life, faith communities, spiritual groups or verified institutions.

We don't require religious credentials. We only ask for seriousness, respect, and commitment to the dignity of those who request prayer.

Each intercessor decides how many requests they want to receive, on what topics, and from which tradition they accompany. The silent prayer of one who meditates is worth the same as the recitation of a rosary, a dhikr, a lit candle, or words written with intention.

Who prays

Our commitments

Lumien matters as much for what it does
as for what it will never do.

We will never privilege one tradition over another.

Lumien is not a Christian, Muslim, or secular platform. It is a human platform.

We will never sell the data of those who request prayer.

Requests are confidential. They are only shared with active intercessors on the platform, and never with third parties.

We will never promise supernatural results.

We won't say that praying cures diseases, guarantees miracles, or produces verifiable effects. Lumien is a space for human and spiritual accompaniment, not a system of cause and effect.

We will never turn prayer into merchandise.

There will be no invasive advertising, no emotional manipulation, no false urgencies. Prayer is not gamified.

We will never ask for proof of faith.

To request prayer, all you need is to want it. To offer it, all you need is to want it. Sincerity is not audited.

Who's behind

Lumien was founded in Mexico.

Lumien Civil Association is in the process of legal formalization. The team is growing and the platform is still in development.
